Wardrobe: Burning Underwear. You may have noticed that we often use what appears to be ripped wardrobe items. Actually, in most cases, the clothing is first burned to create the ripped appearance and then dipped in water. The water causes the clothing to drape and cling to the models’ bodies.
In the photo above, Payton Brady is burning underwear at the beginning of a photo shoot.
In the first photo below, Payton is wearing burned and wet Bike underwear, while he is (appropriately) riding a bicycle.
In the second photo below, Payton is wearing burned and wet 2(x)ist underwear. In this photo, notice the water drops on his body; we had him take a dip in our Jacuzzi just before taking this shot.
